** FAQ:
The Crane Set includes 6 balance rods, which are already included in the kit.2. Can they be purchased separately, and what is the price and lead time?
Yes, the balance rods can be purchased separately as a set of 6 rods. They are currently in stock and available for immediate shipment.
The 6 balance rods included in the standard kit are sufficient for crane configurations up to 3 meters in length.4. What is the longest crane configuration you recommend?
We recommend a maximum crane length of 4 meters. For this configuration, additional overhead bracing cables are required to improve stability.
5. Are there any additional requirements for longer crane configurations?
For safe and reliable operation, we recommend the following:
- Up to 2 meters: Standard configuration.
- Over 2 meters: Install splice plates at every truss joint to reinforce the connections.
- Over 3 meters, up to 4 meters: Add overhead bracing cables to improve structural stability.
Regarding counterweights, the appropriate amount depends on the camera payload, crane length, and overall setup. Counterweights should be properly calculated and adjusted to maintain balance. We do not recommend adding extra counterweights or extending the crane beyond the recommended configuration without evaluating the specific setup.
